Months after opening their first Greek restaurant, DineAmic Hospitality Group is looking to open a second called Violí in Oak Brook, located at 260 Oakbrook Center.

The group’s owners, Luke Stoioff and David Rekhson, recently opened their first greek restaurant, Lyra, in the Fulton Market District at the beginning of the year. Now, the duo is getting ready to open the group’s 13th restaurant sometime in Fall 2022, according to Crain’s Chicago Business. Violí will sit on the first floor of the Oakbrook Center, situated between Beatrix and Maggiano’s, replacing classic French bistro Mon Ami Gabi, which closed late last year after the restaurant’s lease expired.

When this new restaurant opens, guests have a lot to look forward to. On top of the everyday types of Greek food, Violí hopes to be more casual than its sister restaurant Lyra. The new 6,300 square-foot restaurant will have a 2,000-square-foot patio that can seat 100 people, 50 less than the inside. Violí aims to have a garden-feel year-round with its retractable windows, a four-season pergola, infrared heaters on the patio, and lemon trees, similar to what’s found on the Greek islands.

“Greek cuisine is going to be the most rapidly growing portion of our entire portfolio, and it’s because of the quality-of-life element that we’ve had in doing it,” Stoioff tells the publication. “We feel very supported by the Chicago community.”

This isn’t the only project from DineAmic Hospitality. The group is currently in the process of opening a new location for its Italian restaurant Bar Sienna in June at Old Orchard in Skokie. A third location is currently in the works for O’Hare’s Terminal 5, expected to open later this year. Other restaurants found in the group’s portfolio include Siena Tavern, Prime & Provisions, BomboBar, Bandit, Radio Room, and more.
