The chain specializing in burgers and brews is coming to the city.
From a recent Patch.com report, BJ’s Restaurant & Brewhouse could soon be approved for a liquor license at 16336 Boulevard Place in Plainfield. This will be the newest location from the chain coming to Illinois. An opening date has not yet been determined.
This is part of The Boulevard Development, which has been slowly growing near Interstate 55. One of the last chains to be approved at the development was Olive Garden. The exact status of construction at the new BJ’s Brewhouse has not been revealed by the company.
Brewhouse locations always offer a large number of options, from pizzas to entrees, soups, salads and shareable appetizers. Their $13 pizookie meal deals include the BJ’s original crispy chicken sandwich, Italian chicken parmigiana and an all-American smash burger. Menus do not vary greatly at each location.
BJ’s Restaurant & Brewhouse is opening on the north side of Route 30, close to other chains like Cooper’s Hawk, Panda Express, LongHorn Steakhouse and Auntie Anne’s. This is near a Costco Wholesale location in the plaza. The development is about 20 minutes northwest of BJ’s Brewhouse.
The company’s other Chicagoland location is at 15081 LaGrange Road in Orland Park. What Now Chicago has reached out to BJ’s Brewhouse and is awaiting comment.
