According to the company website, Dom’s Kitchen and Market will continue to expand with a new location in River North at 30 W Huron St.

A representative of Dom’s Kitchen and Market was not immediately available for commentary upon What Now Chicago’s request.

According to the website, the River North location for Dom’s is slated to open sometime in the summer of 2024. An article from Block Club Chicago in September of 2023 states, “The specialty grocery store will be located on the ground floor of 30 W. Huron St. in a 25,000-square-foot space vacated by Whole Foods last year.”

“Dom’s Kitchen & Market, launched by Mariano’s founder Bob Mariano and former Dominick’s executives in 2021, has locations in Old Town and Lincoln Park. The River North store would be the second largest of the three locations.”

“Dom’s Kitchen & Market is known for its local vendors such as Anthony Marano Company, Ayo West African Foods, Meats by Linz, The Seafood Merchants, Eli’s Cheesecake, Brown Sugar Bakery, and Hexe Coffee. The River North location will also include products from Alamode, Turano Baking Company, Avli, and Bonci.”

“Dom’s CEO Don Fitzgerald, a former executive at Mariano’s and Dominick’s, told Block Club Chicago company leaders decided to open their next location Downtown after hearing from consumers who would shop at Dom’s if it was closer to them.”

“The specialty grocery store chain plans to launch new kitchen experiences, but officials are not yet announcing what those are. Customers can still expect offerings like Bonci pizza, burgers, and sushi, as well as a bar, coffee shop, and bakery, Fitzgerald said,” the article adds.
