Zaxbys is a Georgia-based fast-food chain and is known for its chicken fingers, wings, and signature sauces. The brand has recently signed a deal to open seven more restaurants in the Chicago area. The agreement was signed with a local entrepreneur who will oversee the expansion.

The local entrepreneur was attracted to the brand’s business model and growth potential. The announcement follows the opening of the company’s first restaurant in the Chicago market in Plainfield.

Zaxbys has grown to more than 1,000 locations across 22 states. It is headquartered in Atlanta, Georgia. This expansion adds to the brand’s growing nationwide presence.

The announcement of the second multi-unit development deal in Chicagoland follows another similar agreement earlier this year. It shows Zaxbys’ growing presence in the Midwest. It also highlights the company’s vision for the local market.

Zaxbys sees Chicago as an important market because of its growing suburban population, busy commuter routes, and strong expansion opportunities. The company is focusing on high-growth areas where its restaurant formats and off-premise business models can operate efficiently.

“This second development agreement is another important step in establishing Zaxbys as a long-term growth brand throughout Chicago and the broader Midwest,” said Russ Holland, Chief Development Officer at Zaxbys.

With two development agreements now in place, Zaxbys continues to expand its presence throughout the Midwest.
