Guzman y Gomez (GYG), one of the world’s fastest-growing fast-food companies, announced the opening of its fifth U.S. location in Deerfield, located at 636 Deerfield Rd.

GYG Deerfield will open to the public on Thursday, January 9 from 7 am – 11 pm for dine-in or take out. To celebrate the opening of the new restaurant, GYG will be serving up $5 Burritos and Bowls all day! Starting with $5 Brekkie Burritos and Bowls from 7:00am-10:30am followed $5 Burritos and Bowls until 11pm! Come down and grab yourself a fresh and delicious meal that is deliciously good value! Guests can make it a meal with the famous chipotle seasoned fries and fountain soda for just $4.

Founder and CEO of GYG Steven Marks always dreamed of bringing the brand ‘home’ to the U.S. The native New Yorker, who in 2006 founded Guzman y Gomez Mexican Kitchen in Australia, has built a business dominating the Mexican fast-food category internationally and now has over 230 restaurants in Australia, Singapore, Japan and the US. In January 2020 the US dream came true with the opening of Guzman y Gomez’s first drive thru in Naperville. Today, GYG is open in Buffalo Grove, Crystal Lake, Naperville and Schaumburg, with additional openings set to hit through 2025.

GYG has the community covered with a menu that provides freshly prepared classics such as burritos, bowls, nachos, tacos and quesadillas with real Mexican flavor in every bite.
