According to an article in the Daily Herald, Lulu’s Ice Cream Social will debut in Buffalo Grove’s The Clove.

“Lulu’s Ice Cream Social is the brainchild of village resident Beth Kampner. Kampner had been selling her homemade ice cream creations for delivery. But she now plans to occupy two of the retail spaces with a total of 1,800 square feet on the first floor of the apartment building at The Clove.”

“The center’s developers and Kampner are working out the details of the lease. The target date for opening is spring 2025.”

According to Lulu’s website, “From our small-batch, premium, handcrafted ice cream, homemade waffle cones, and cookies to spontaneous moments of laughter with family, friends, and neighbors, Lulu’s Ice Cream Social feeds your soul and delights your senses.”

“Every scoop brings smiles, connections, and the taste of community. Our ice cream is handmade in shop, and on display for all to see. using fresh and simple ingredients, we offer 15 classic flavors, and a rotation of artisanal flavors for a touch of fun!”

“Lulu’s owner, Beth Kampner, has called Buffalo Grove home since 2013. After 30+ years in technical project management, she decided to pursue her lifelong dream of owning an ice cream shop.”

“You may have seen Beth and her daughter, Lily at local sporting events, PTO events, and park district festivals. That won’t change. Lulu’s Ice Cream Social is a neighborhood meeting place and active member of the community.”
