Bristol Republic is preparing to open its new Dublin location at Bridge Park next month, according to the Columbus Business First.
The Nashville-inspired live music and barbecue concept announced on social media this week that it expects to officially open in June at 4495 Bridge Park Ave. The post also revealed a new concept within the venue called the Saddle Club, described as an elevated whiskey and cocktail lounge.
Hiring is currently underway for several positions, including bartenders, hostesses, runners, servers and cooks.
The move to Dublin was first announced last year when Bristol Republic shared plans to relocate from its original Short North location.
Owner Brian Swanson told the publication mentioned above that the move to Dublin will allow the concept to expand its culinary offerings and continue growing the brand while continuing to offer the live music, food and atmosphere Bristol Republic is known for.
The original Bristol Republic opened in 2019 at 1124 N. High St. in the Short North, occupying roughly 5,000 square feet. The new multi-level Dublin location spans approximately 6,500 square feet and will feature live music, Southern-style cuisine and a whiskey-focused bar program.
Swanson’s hospitality group also operates Bodega and Apt. B in the Short North, Worthington Tavern in Worthington and West Palm Cowboy Club in Florida, which opened earlier this spring.
Meanwhile, Crawford Hoying’s Bridge Park development continues to grow with additional residential, hotel and commercial projects in the works. The development also welcomed new restaurant additions.
