Saturday Morning Vibes Cereal Bar in Cincinnati is looking to open a new location that has not been revealed yet.

According to the Cincinnati Business Courier, the eatery, located at 3539 Reading Rd, Suite 101, in Cincinnati, had announced on social media that its final day of service was April 18.

It was also Cincinnati’s first cereal bar, which has officially closed its doors, marking the end of a short but memorable run for a concept built on nostalgic breakfast favourites.

Saturday Morning Vibes Cereal Bar, known for serving childhood cereals alongside smoothies, milkshakes and breakfast sandwiches, first opened in December 2022 at 3539 Reading Road.

On social media, the owner, Arielle Nelson, described Saturday Morning Vibes Cereal Bar as one of the most meaningful experiences of her life, reflecting on the support and memories created throughout its run.

She added that every customer interaction, family visit, late night, and event held deep significance, expressing that the journey meant more to her than words can fully capture.

Nelson said the closure is part of a temporary pause as the brand looks to “reimagine, rebuild and create something even sweeter.” However, no further details have been confirmed regarding a new location or timeline for reopening.

Despite the closure, Nelson noted that Saturday Morning Vibes will continue to accept bookings for summer pop-ups, birthday parties and community events, suggesting the brand will maintain an active presence in a different capacity.

The cereal bar operated on a fast-casual build-your-own model, allowing guests to mix and match cereals with toppings such as chocolate chips, brownie bites, bananas, almonds and raisins, finished with drizzles like chocolate, caramel, honey or strawberry, and served with milk. Lactose-free and plant-based options were also available.

In addition to cereal bowls, the menu featured breakfast sandwiches, smoothies, milkshakes, coffee and iced coffee offerings.
