Trinity Groves and North Park locations will remain open until supplies last. The company cited economic shifts and rising costs as the reasons for closures.
Kate Weiser Chocolate Begins Retail Shutdown on April 17
Kate Weiser team confirmed the closure through social media post. In the post, the chocolatier team stated, “After 12 magical years, we’re saying goodbye to Kate Weiser Chocolate.”
With a social media update, the chocolate company explained that the business is “highly seasonal.” The company added that financial pressures and rising labor costs have made operations increasingly difficult in recent years.
“We are endlessly grateful for every visit, every gift shared, every holiday tradition, and every moment you chose to include us in your lives. You all mean the world to me, and I will take these memories with me forever,” said the team.

Final Days Ahead: Where to Get the Last Bites
Customers still have a limited window to purchase chocolates from Kate Weiser. The Trinity Groves and North Park locations of Kate Weiser will remain open while supplies last. Online ordering closed on April 15, 2026.
The company noted, “We are down to a very small staff, so if we do not return your call or email right away, please forgive us.”
Named after its founder, the brand combines culinary craftsmanship with artistic design. The brand is known for its colorful bonbons and artistically crafted chocolates.
In August 2014, Kate Weiser opened its first store in Trinity Groves, followed by NorthPark Center in 2016. Over the years, the brand continued its expansion across the state.
Kate Weiser was named one of the Top 10 Chocolatiers in North America by Dessert Professional Magazine in 2014.
The company is currently aiming to support its team and is trying to find job opportunities for them. Kate Weiser has invited its fans to visit during the final days to purchase their favorite chocolates before the supplies run out.
