Chef Daniel Young, aka “Chef D”’s newest venture, HAMBA, is poised to make waves with its arrival in Denver’s culinary scene. Located on the ground floor of The Parq on Speer, 909 Bannock St., this high-end steakhouse is set to open in early 2025.

HAMBA will be a culmination of Chef D’s signature Escoffier-style cuisine and his 40-year career. He began working in the food world in the 80s, and he has launched restaurants like Jive, Mimosas, and Sunset Loop Bar & Grill, located in Denver International Airport’s Concourse B.

The menu showcases locally grown, grass-fed meats, grain-fed poultry, and sustainable seafood paired with a curated selection of domestic and imported wines. HAMBA is inspired by Auguste Escoffier, the “King of Chefs,” whose classical French techniques laid the foundation for Chef D’s career.

Residents at The Parq on Speer will have access to express breakfast and lunch menus, grab-and-go options, and in-home dining experiences. The restaurant will also offer diners a chance to reserve a seat at the “Chef’s Table” for a culinary experience led by Chef D himself.
