A neighborhood coffee spot is soon to open in one of the Grosse Pointes
Little Nest Coffee Roasters is a cozy new spot planned for 21003 Mack Avenue in Grosse Pointe Woods. Owner Jason Spencer has been working to bring this new concept to the downtown area for a year. Spencer told What Now Detroit he is hoping to launch the concept in the around 30 days.
“A vibrant neighborhood coffee shop where warmth, comfort, and community come together. We’re passionate about serving exceptional, small-batch coffee, roasted in-house to bring out the fullest flavors,” says the description on their Facebook page.
A menu has not been released, but guests can expect drinks like lattes and teas. Right now, it looks like only brews will be served, not pastries or other baked goods. Right now, Spencer is hiring for baristas to join the team.
The cafe is coming to the corner of Hampton Road in Grosse Pointe Woods’ downtown area. This is close to Licavoli’s Market & Pizzeria on the same side of the road. On the other side of Mack Avenue are Josef’s European Pastry Shop, and Beyond Juicery + Eatery.
