Pilates Addiction is undergoing a major expansion across the state of Texas. According to a recently filed permit, one of many of the brand’s new pilates studios is expected to open in the Spring Branch West neighborhood within the Village Plaza at Bunker Hill at 9774 Old Katy Fwy.

The address sits across from Memorial City Mall and is one of a dozen locations listed on the Pilates Addiction website as “coming soon” to the Lone Star state.

The permit further details that construction on the new Pilates Addiction studio just started and is slated to wrap up in October. If all goes well with the estimated $250,000 construction project on the 1,899 square-foot space and permitting, the new Pilates Addiction location should open by this fall.

At the helm of the opening is franchisee father-daughter duo Marcos and Gabriela AmudWhat Now Houston reached out to Marcos, who was listed on the permit. Marcos confirmed the opening and shared that the two are a few weeks away from opening the Memorial location. Unfortunately, the franchisee was unable to share further details by the time of this publication.

“Brand new, modern, high-energy studios so that you’re energized the moment you walk in and never want to leave,” the Pilates Addiction website reads.

Elite instructors who get to know you in real life so that you get the personal touches you need.”

Pilates Addiction launched in May 2025 in West Hollywood, California, under parent company Sequel Brands. Led by fitness industry veteran and CEO Sarah Luna, who previously helped scale Club Pilates, the brand rapidly expanded by fusing classical alignment with high-intensity, music-driven workouts.

There are now more than 300 Pilates Addiction franchise territories across 27 states, with locations like the Village Plaza at Bunker Hill studio set to open soon as part of a major nationwide expansion. What Now also reached out to Luna to find out more about the expansion plans, but did not hear back by the time of this publication.

“Whether your studio is open now or opening soon, this is where your Pilates Addiction journey begins,” the Pilates Addiction website reads.

“Our open studios and trained Pilates educators are ready to invite you to experience the New Gold Standard in Pilates. New studios are opening all around the USA soon. Be the first to experience the healthiest new addiction in your community!”

Pilates Addiction is anticipated to open in the Spring Branch West neighborhood within the Village Plaza at Bunker Hill at 9774 Old Katy Fwy later this year.
