Located at 8620 Baymeadows Rd, Acai-Licious is “your go-to spot for refreshing, feel-good, tropical bowls, smoothies, ice cream, boba teas and coffees.”

The brand is making a name for itself with a menu that features not just acai bowls but smoothies, boba tea, and ice cream, too. And now, it looks to be planning an expansion to a second location.

This week, What Now came across plan review paperwork submitted by Acai & Boba Licious 2 LLC, for a new restaurant—referred to in the paperwork as Acai & Boba Licious 2—that would open at 2013 Jammes Rd in Jacksonville.

There, Jacksonville would be able to enjoy bowls made with bases like acai, pitaya, and coconut and packed with toppings like granola, Orea, strawberry, Nutella, Honey, and more. On the beverage side, there are smoothies like Berry Blast, Mango Madness, and Cacao Energy Boost, along with Boba Drinks like Pineapple Coconut Black Tea and Passion Fruit Green Tea.

What Now reached out on Wednesday to co-owner David Nouman to ask about plans for a second Acai-Licious location. Nouman was not immediately available for comment on the news.
