Known as “THE Las Vegas restaurant off-the-strip specializing in fine Latin Cuisine,” Tres Cazuelas (stylized as TRES Cazuelas) has made a name for itself at 3355 Spring Mountain Road, Suite 35. Now, the “Artisanal Latin Cuisine & Social Tapas” restaurant appears to be getting a sister location.

The details are not all clear just yet, but Social Tapas Concepts LLC submitted paperwork for a restaurant called “TRES” to the City of Las Vegas. The paperwork is for a both a business license and a liquor license, at 9440 W Sahara Ave, Suite 165, in Summerlin.

Behind Social Tapas Concepts LLC is Tres Cazuelas owner Angelo Reyes. What Now reached out to Reyes on Friday to inquire about plans for another Tres Cazuelas, or a related restaurant, opening in Summerlin. Reyes was not immediately available for comment.

Opening in retail center on the northwest corner of the Sahara-South Fort Apache intersection, the new restaurant would join a community food of and beverage concepts that include Yukga Korean BBQ, Cap’t Loui Summerlin, Siena Italian Authentic Trattoria and Deli, and more.

“TRES Cazuelas is THE Las Vegas Restaurant off-the-strip specializing in fine Latin Cuisine, sorting the best ingredients to create an Artisanal Tapas Menu, PRIME Steak and Fresh Seafood dishes, next to an exquisite wine selection from around the world,” says the Tres Cazuelas website. “Join us for a únique experience full of flavor, celebrating culinary arts from Spain, Portugal and South America. Come and share among friends and likeminded Professionals!”
