Patchy Threads, a new tufting concept, is set to open in the Valley soon. According to a City of Las Vegas permit, Patchy Threads is expected to open in the Fantastic Indoor Swap Meet at 1717 S Decatur Blvd.
Construction and planning are underway! Patchy Threads should be opening soon this spring.
At the helm of the opening is Kenneth Amparano. What Now Las Vegas spoke with Amparano via text, who confirmed the opening but was unable to share further details by the time of this publication. The brand was founded by Amparano’s daughter, Jacquelyn, and was an online source before landing its first brick-and-mortar location.
“What began as making pieces for fun turned into a passion for creating and bringing ideas to life. My sister and I have always wanted to start something together, and Patchy Threads is that vision,” the Patchy Threads website reads.
“We’re a family-run creative space offering tufting, decoden, and custom patch experiences in a fun, welcoming environment for everyone. Starting at a local swap meet, we’re growing with the goal of opening our own storefront and building a creative community.”
The brand’s Instagram page is laying out that journey. The social media page also highlights its menu items, particularly around tufting.
The new crafts store will open alongside a host of eateries, hobby shops, and more at the Fantastic Indoor Swap Meet on Decatur. Patchy Threads will be a welcome addition to the Las Vegas craft scene.
Patchy Threads is anticipated to open in the Fantastic Indoor Swap Meet at 1717 S Decatur Blvd this spring.
