Panini Kabob Grill is expanding its Los Angeles footprint with a new restaurant planned for the Wilshire and Fairfax area. The Mediterranean restaurant is coming to 5779 Wilshire Blvd., according to the brand’s website. It’s one of several locations the company has in the pipeline.

Hamed Naseri, marketing manager for Panini Kabob Grill, confirmed to What Now Los Angeles that progress is moving forward at the site, saying, “Our Wilshire location is currently under construction. We anticipate opening this location in early 2027.”

The forthcoming restaurant will be located near the La Brea Tar Pits and Museum and the Los Angeles County Museum of Art. It’s one of several locations the company has announced as part of its ongoing local growth, including one coming to 9th & Olive, and several others planned for Valencia, Norwalk, Downey, and Eastvale.

Outside of California, the brand is also embarking on its first steps of out-of-state expansion. Next year, Panini Kabob Grill will debut in Chandler, Arizona, and at Las Vegas’ Fashion Show Mall.

The eatery chain describes itself as a scratch kitchen serving Mediterranean cuisine. The company says its dishes are prepared in-house daily using premium ingredients, with menu items including grilled kabobs, paninis, wraps, salads, pasta, vegetarian dishes, desserts, and breakfast at select locations.
