The Taco Stand is planning to expand to Westlake Village, adding another location to its growing collection of taquerias across the United States. The company lists Westlake Village among its upcoming planned locations on its website, one of many that the growing brand has in its pipeline.
There has not been an address, opening announcement, or any other details released by the company regarding the pending venue.
The Westlake Village expansion comes as The Taco Stand continues to grow its footprint beyond its San Diego roots. The company currently lists locations in Las Vegas, Wynwood and Calle 8 in Miami, Dallas Uptown, Downtown San Diego, Encinitas, North Park, Convoy Street, La Jolla, Orange County, Laguna Beach, Costa Mesa, Mission Viejo, South Beach, Oceanside, Summerlin Las Vegas, Riverside, Sunrise, San Diego Airport, and Snapdragon Stadium.
It also has eateries coming to Mission Valley, Las Vegas Henderson, Irvine, Aventura, Delray Beach, and Beverly Glen, many of which What Now has covered.
The Taco Stand was founded in San Diego in 2013, inspired by the taco stands and food culture of Tijuana and the founders’ culinary experiences throughout the Baja Peninsula. Its menu offers breakfast, lunch, and dinner and includes tacos, burritos, quesadillas, and drinks.
