Island Pacific Market, an authentic Filipino grocery story with locations throughout California and Las Vegas, is slated to open its first Los Angeles outpost in Eats Hollywood, according to its website. The store will also include PhilHouse, a takeout and delivery restaurant offering “authentic home-cooked Filipino meals.”

PhilHouse’s menu includes a range of items like pork and chicken BBQ skewered on bamboo sticks; grilled seafood options like whole boneless bangus, tilapia, and pompano, each marinated with citrus and spices, then stuffed with salsa; Liempo, a long-sliced pork belly marinated in citrus juice, soy sauce, and spices; BBQ Value Packs; combo meals, which include an entree item with rice or bihon noodles; and more.

An opening date for the L.A. store has not been announced. The store recently requested a CUB from the L.A. City Planning Commission to allow the sale of beer and wine in the restaurant and grocery store.
