Prime Pizza could open its Burbank restaurant this month, at 603 N Hollywood Way.
“We are shooting for mid-January, depending on how inspections go,” Zak Fishman, co-owner of Prime Pizza, in an email Thursday told What Now Los Angeles.
Fishman did not share an exact targeted opening date.
It will be the third location for Prime Pizza joining existing outposts in Fairfax and Little Tokyo.
In Burbank, Prime Pizza is replacing Taste Chicago, which closed its doors in March 2019.
“I know it’s been a long road and people are feeling antsy, but we really are at the finish line,” the Prime Pizza team in mid-December posted to the restaurant’s Instagram.
“The process of seeing this building transform in front of our eyes has been so fun to watch…and we can’t wait to share it with you all very soon!”
Prime Pizza’s menu includes round and square pies in addition to sandwiches and sides, including salads, garlic knots, and wings.
