Pura Vida Miami, a Florida-based health food eatery, is getting ready to open its first location on the East Coast with a new site in Malibu at 23465 Civic Center Way.

The company’s newest location is set to open at the Cross Creek Ranch shopping center, a mixed-use development with 70,000 square feet of luxury retail, chic boutiques, and electric eateries, according to a brochure from the leasing company. It’s unclear when the company plans to open its first California location, but Pura Vida Miami was seeking regional managers for Malibu earlier this year. Pura Vida currently has locations in Florida and New York.

Pura Vida Miami has become a beacon of health-conscious living, offering a diverse menu of nutritious and delectable dishes, according to the company’s website. Omer and Jennifer Horev, the husband-wife duo behind the brand, have meticulously curated a menu that harmonizes nutritious and indulgent offerings. From acai bowls to superfood smoothies and clean chef-driven salads, each dish celebrates high-quality ingredients.

“As we continue to expand, our brand remains committed to its founding principles of health and wellness,” according to the company’s website. “As part of our community culture, we actively engage in eco-friendly practices such as composting food waste and donating soil to local farms, exemplifying its commitment to a sustainable future. More than a culinary destination, we are a lifestyle brand that encapsulates the essence of a healthier and happier community.”
