In Westlake, TenTen Wilshire’s new nine-story mixed-use building, expected to deliver this year, will be anchored by three restaurants. Murat Bozok, the “coordinator chef” at TenTen, told What Now Los Angeles that the opening of the restaurants are expected either by December 2020 or early 2021.

One ground-floor restaurant, called Junco, will span 5,031 square feet with 158 indoor seats and 148 outdoor seats in a 2,130-square-foot outdoor dining area. The second ground-floor concept, called Gravita, will be a “European-style” bakery and cafe. There will also be a 5,385-square-foot rooftop terrace residential amenity with and 310 outdoor seats called Junco Roof.

With all of his experiences from working around the world, he is planning the concepts, Junco and Junco Roof, to be focused on “world” cuisine. They will feature flavors from Asia, the Middle East, Europe, and the United States. Bozok has previously worked at Ritz-Carlton locations in New York and Boston and has worked with acclaimed chefs Gordon Ramsay and Joël Robuchon. He is a graduate of Johnston & Wales University in Rhode Island.

The original TenTen Wilshire, which opened across the street in 2007, repurposed the former 16-story headquarters of the Signal Oil Company as rental housing. The project’s under-construction phase replaces a parking lot.
