After a year-long hiatus, a beloved South Memphis wing joint is set for a comeback.
Jimmy’s Wings is relocating from its original home at 432 E E.H.Crump Blvd to 942 E E.H.Crump Blvd, according to owner Tierrany Williams.
Founded in 2018 by Tierrany’s father, Lawrence “Jimmy” Williams, the casual eatery quickly became known for its made-to-order party and whole wings. After Jimmy’s passing in 2021, Tierrany took the reins, determined to carry on the family legacy.
The reopening was recently announced on Facebook, where the post quickly garnered over 200 shares from excited locals. “Be sure to turn your notifications on & be on the look out for JIMMY’S WINGS returning back to South Memphis on Crump Blvd Spring 2025!!!!!!!” reads the update.
In addition to its famous wings, Jimmy’s serves a variety of comforting favorites including fried green tomatoes, mozzarella sticks, burgers, sandwiches, quesadillas, and hot dogs, plus desserts like banana pudding and cake. Tierrany told What Now Memphis the new location will offer the same menu.
Jimmy’s Wings is scheduled to reopen on April 5, 2025.
