The Flying Biscuit Café to Open First Greater Memphis Location in Jonesboro

A growing Southern breakfast chain is planning its first Greater Memphis location.

According to a recent Jonesboro Right Now report, The Flying Biscuit Café is bringing its signature comfort food to Jonesboro, Arkansas in 2025. While details are scarce for now, locals can look forward to the franchise’s signature Southern staples.

Franchisee Abby Husband confirmed this news with What Now Memphis, stating that she’s in the “final stages of securing a location.” She promised to share more details after the Thanksgiving holiday.

The Flying Biscuit Café offers a range of breakfast, brunch, and lunch options, with standout dishes like shrimp and grits, chorizo hash, and Southern scramble. The menu also accommodates gluten-free, vegan, and vegetarian diets.

Since its founding in Atlanta, Georgia in 1993, the franchise has expanded to 35 locations across states like Tennessee, North Carolina, Florida, and Texas. Director of Franchise Development Andrew Scherzer recently said that five new locations opened in 2024, with 15 more planned for 2025.
