Jonesboro’s next sweet sensation is getting closer to opening its doors. Beignets and Brew is getting ready to serve its delicious treats to the area-making locals hopeful that the establishment will be ready to welcome customers in the not-too-distant future.

Beignets and Brew is setting up shop at 1853 E Highland Drive. While the concept originally hoped to be open this spring, it now appears to be on track for an autumn debut. Beignets and Brew posted on Facebook two days ago that it is now actively recruiting baristas and beignet chefs for the location.

The Jonesboro Beignets and Brew will be the second owned and operated by franchisees Cody and Kristen McPherson. The duo brings a wealth of fast-casual experience to the table, having successfully launched Potbelly, Crumbl and Rock N Roll Sushi storefronts. Beignets and Brew will be sharing a building-though not an entrance-with the McPherson’s Jonesboro Potbelly location.

Beignets and Brew puts a New Orleans twist on the classic pairing of coffee and donuts. Guests can choose between traditional beignets and a range of specialty options, alongside dipping sauces and a full selection of coffee.
