Garden Butcher is bringing its clean-eating concept to Wellington.
Garden Butcher LLC just filed permit applications with the Florida Department of Business and Professional Regulation to open a new garden Butcher at The Lotus development, located at 1385 South State Road 7.
The restaurant and prepared food market will mark the brand’s third South Florida location, following its original café in Boca Raton and its recently opened West Palm Beach outpost. While an opening date has not been announced, the Wellington location is listed as “coming soon” on the company’s website.
Founded by chef Erin Leeds, Garden Butcher has built a loyal following by offering made-to-order breakfasts, salads, wraps, sandwiches, grain bowls and smoothies alongside a market stocked with grab-and-go meals. The concept emphasizes clean eating, with every dish made without seed oils or refined sugar and prepared using local, seasonal and organic ingredients whenever possible.
Leeds, a classically trained chef and mother of four, launched Garden Butcher after relocating to Boca Raton in 2018. She envisioned a neighborhood café that combined the quality of a private chef with the convenience of a prepared food market, making healthy meals more accessible for busy families.
In addition to its all-day café, Garden Butcher offers refrigerated family meals, catering and meal-prep options. The company also partners with Florida farms and food producers for many of its ingredients and donates surplus food to local organizations as part of its sustainability efforts.
