Gordon Ramsay’s Lucky Cat is one of the most anticipated Miami restaurant openings of the year. Set to debut this fall at 119 Washington Ave. in Miami Beach, Lucky Cat will be Ramsay’s first restaurant in the area. The 9,000-square foot restaurant will feature an open kitchen, raw bar, chef’s table, and late-night lounge.
Lucky Cat originated in London’s Mayfair district in 2019 and is inspired by Tokyo drinking dens of the 1930s, while the menu is inspired by various regions throughout Asia. “Lucky Cat is a Pan-Asian style concept featuring incredible cocktails, sushi and sashimi, meats from the robata grill, as well as small plates. It’s all about sharing in an exquisitely designed space,” Ramsay told Miami New Times.
Seeing Miami as a city with a burgeoning food and dining culture, Ramsay decided that it was the best place to bring his Lucky Cat brand stateside. “I know Miamians love their food — especially food that fuses different flavors from around the world. I also know from my times dining out there that Miami has such an eye for great aesthetic. Food always comes first, but the restaurant designs in Miami are especially on point,” he said.
