Lynora’s, the Italian restaurant that’s been a family favorite for decades, is coming to Fort Lauderdale.
The restaurant announced that a location at 2980 N. Federal Highway would be “coming soon”. No specific opening date has beem announced.
Lynora’s was founded in 1976 by Raffaele and Maria Abbanente, who opened the original Lynora’s in Lake Worth. What began as a neighborhood Italian eatery has grown into a popular South Florida brand with multiple locations throughout the region. Today, the company remains family-owned and is led by second-generation restaurateur Angelo Abbanente.
Known for its traditional Italian fare, Lynora’s has built a loyal following with dishes including house made pastas, bone-in veal parmigiana, and veal marsala. The menu also includes vegan options, gluten-free cauliflower-crust pizzas and a dedicated children’s menu. In addition to dine-in service, the restaurant offers catering and private dining experiences for special events.
Lynora’s is also planning a new restaurant in Melbourne, along with a Palm Beach Gardens location.
Despite its growth, the brand continues to emphasize the family recipes and hospitality that helped make the original Lake Worth location a South Florida favorite for generations of diners.
