The intersection of South Redland Road and West Palm Drive in Florida City will soon be home to a new restaurant serving Caribbean cuisine. Called Caribbean’s Heart Restaurant, this new spot will open at 941 W Palm Drive, Suite 1, according to plan review paperwork submitted by Caribbean’s Heart Restaurant LLC.

What Now reached out this week to Syndy, owner of the upcoming restaurant, to inquire about plans for the launch.

Word is, it’s still soon to tell on an opening date. “We’re still in the process of getting licenses,” Syndy said.

Similarly, details on the menu are still under wraps.

Opening in the West Palm Drive location, the new restaurant joins local businesses like Efourth Sign Shop and Crown Royale Boutique, along with Mexican restaurant Taqueria Cinco Hermanos. On the same corner of the Redland-Palm intersection are a Valero and Taqueria Morelia.

That’s all that’s known for now; stay tuned for possible updates as more info becomes available.
