With a name meaning the white sheep, La Pecora Bianca is a New York-based restaurant offering “a relaxed, all day dining experience with approachable, quality Italian food, in a stylish and comfortable setting” at six different locations in New York. Now, La Pecora Bianca is opening its first Miami location at 360 San Lorenzo Ave, Suite 1430, according to recent coverage by the Miami New Times.
Part of the Shops at Merrick Park, the location will place this Italian restaurant in a food and drink community that includes restaurants like Mariposa, Sea Grill, Villagio, and Perry’s Steakhouse and Grill.
“We take Italian food back to its roots as a local and seasonal cuisine, with a menu that centers around house-made pastas and modern takes on classic Italian fare,” says the Pecora Bianca website. “All of our pastas, including our signature rigatoni vodka, gramigna, and tagliatelle bolognese, are made daily in-house.”
A representative of La Pecora Bianca declined to make any immediate comment on the opening on Thursday.
