For months now, The Restaurant People have been teasing Las Olas Boulevard with the promise of a new restaurant. Now, finally, the wait is over.

The hospitality group announced that Naia would be opening in an Instagram reel.  On the post, the restaurant was describes as, “a completely new @therestaurantpeople experience featuring Mediterranean cuisine with Asian influences, expansive indoor & outdoor spaces, and a social atmosphere designed for Fort Lauderdale.” The restaurant, opening October 2026,  will be located at 904 E. Las Olas Boulevard, at the former home of the beloved Mango’s restaurant that was a landmark Fort Lauderdale staple for years.

The restaurant’s brand new Instagram account offers a little more detail: ” Conceptualized as a sophisticated yet approachable culinary experience, NAIA will fuse Mediterranean and Asian flavors within an elevated, modern setting. The restaurant will feature a dynamic indoor-outdoor layout, anchored by a vibrant central bar, offering curated cocktails, premium wines, and shareable plates that encourage connection, conversation, and discovery.” A menu and information about decor and design have not yet been released.

The Restaurant People, led by Tim Petrillo, owns a diverse portfolio of some of South Florida’s most popular restaurants, including Boatyard, Casablanca Cafe, Yolo, and Tarpon River Brewing.
