Ô Quai des Brasseurs, a Quebec-based brewery and restaurant group, is getting ready to open a new location in Sainte-Marguerite-du-Lac-Masson in the Laurentians.

The company’s third location will be located on the shores of Lake Masson, according to Radio-Canada. While an exact opening date has not been announced, interior renovations are underway, and the project is still awaiting the installation of kitchen equipment before moving forward. The restaurant is expected to seat about 250 people and will employ around 65 staff members once open.

Co-owner Émile Sauvé told Radio-Canada that the team chose the site after being impressed by the building itself and how closely it resembled their existing restaurants. He added that the waterfront setting was a strong factor in the decision, particularly given its proximity to snowmobile trails that draw seasonal visitors.

The company currently operates locations in Bécancour and the Grand-Mère area. Those restaurants helped establish the brand’s regional presence, focusing on combining brewery operations with full-service dining. Even with a third location on the way, the owners say they do not intend to expand into a large chain and want to keep the concept relatively focused.

Across all locations, the company expects to employ up to 230 people during peak season. Sauvé described the internal support from staff as reflective of the company’s family-oriented culture, especially as many employees have stepped in to help prepare for the launch of the Sainte-Marguerite-du-Lac-Masson location.

The menu features a wide range of pub-style dishes, including burgers, poutines, tacos, seafood plates, and shareable appetizers. House specialties include beef cheek poutine, fish and chips, rotisserie-style chicken, tartares, and house-made pizzas. The brewery also produces a rotating selection of beers along with cocktails and other drinks.
