Hattie B’s Hot Chicken is bringing another restaurant to the Nashville area. The Michelin-recommended brand will open at 2725 Old Lebanon Pike in Donelson in summer 2027, according to the Nashville Business Journal, marking its seventh Nashville-area location.
The restaurant will occupy a former bank building spanning approximately 3,200 square feet, with an additional 1,000-square-foot covered patio and about 50 parking spaces. The Donelson location will join a growing collection of local concepts in the area, including Red Door Saloon and Edley’s Bar-B-Que.
Co-founder Nick Bishop Jr. told the Nashville Business Journal the company has looked at Donelson for several years and was attracted to the neighborhood’s growing mix of local restaurants and bars.
Chief Development Officer Dave Oster told the publication that finding real estate that fits the brand’s needs has been one of the biggest challenges in its expansion, making patience an important part of the site selection process.
The announcement follows the June 24 opening of Hattie B’s largest restaurant to date in East Nashville at 1206 Gallatin Avenue. Co-founder Nick Bishop Sr. told the Business Journal that having two restaurants on the east side of the Cumberland River will also improve operational efficiency while supporting growth as more people move to Nashville’s suburbs.
Founded in 2012 in Midtown Nashville, Hattie B’s has grown to 16 locations across Alabama, Georgia, Illinois, Nevada, Tennessee and Texas. According to the publication, the company expects to end 2026 with seven new restaurants and plans to open 10 additional locations in 2027, a pace of growth that would nearly double its footprint by the end of next year.
