Icon Entertainment is working on a new brand for East Nashville. The Greenwood will be a cocktail bar located at 2105 Greenwood Avenue, near fellow Icon brand Schulman’s.
The bar will serve small bites alongside a cocktail menu and will feature a 2,700-square-foot rooftop bar, according to reporting by Nashville Business Journal.
The plans for The Greenwood comes in the wake of Icon’s announcement that it would be rebranding its downtown concept Johnny Cash’s Bar & BBQ with a new experience-based concept, Show Pony, as previously reported by What Now Nashville.
Schulman’s Neighborhood Bar is the only other Icon concept in East Nashville.
“Schulman’s brings the honest come one, come all, come-as-you-are culture to the vibrant East Nashville neighborhood,” the Icon Entertainment website states. “Solid food, cold beer, shots, unpretentious cocktails and a local staff of friendly, familiar faces await you.”
As of now, it is unclear when The Greenwood will officially join Schulman’s in East Nashville. What Now Nashville reached out to CEO Bill Miller for timeline details but had not heard back by the time of publication.
