Dunkin’ appears to have multiple locations on the way. Experienced Dunkin’ franchise group Bluemont Group is preparing to open a Dunkin’ at 2100 Eighth Avenue S.
That spot is expected to open this year as a drive-thru only location in a 1,110-square-foot space.
Bluemont Group, helmed by Dave Baumgartner, has been operating since 2008. Since then, it has grown to operate more than 80 stores across seven states, with a strong presence in Knoxville and Chattanooga.
Permits recently filed with Metro also indicate that another Dunkin’ location is planned for 5747 Temple Road, which used to be home to a Sonic Drive-In. The permit indicates plans for interior and exterior renovations to the existing building at the address.
Dunkin’ is known for its fast-casual coffee and breakfast menu. Over the past seven decades, it has become a global brand with thousands of locations.
