Anthropologie could be coming to The Factory at Franklin. Williamson County Source recently reported that plans submitted to the Franklin Historic Zoning Commission show the lifestyle retailer proposed for the former MAFIAoza’s space at 230 Franklin Road.

The publication reported that the project includes new signage, exterior improvements, and features associated with Terrain, Anthropologie’s home furnishings and outdoor living brand. Williamson County Source also noted that it remains unclear whether the proposed location would replace Anthropologie’s existing downtown Franklin store or operate as an additional location in the area.

According to Anthropologie’s website, the retailer was founded in 1992 and offers women’s apparel, accessories, beauty products, home furnishings, and gifts through its stores and online platform.

Urban Outfitters’ website states that Anthropologie is part of the company’s portfolio of brands, which includes Urban Outfitters, Free People, Terrain, BHLDN, and Nuuly. The Philadelphia-based company was founded by Richard Hayne in 1970, and Hayne continues to serve as CEO.

The potential Franklin location would further expand Anthropologie’s presence in Tennessee while adding another national retailer to The Factory. The property has continued to attract new retail, dining, and entertainment concepts as redevelopment efforts reshape the historic site into a regional destination.

An exact opening date has not yet been disclosed. WhatNow Nashville will provide updates as additional information becomes available.
