Buffalo Exchange is setting its sights on a second Nashville store at 1004 Gallatin Avenue in East Nashville. According to WKRN News 2, Metro Nashville permit records show the Arizona-based resale retailer is renovating the former King Baby Studio building for the new location.
Company officials told WKRN News 2 they are targeting a fall 2026 opening, though a specific debut date has not been announced. The retailer’s existing store at 2214 Elliston Place, which opened in 2016, will remain open while renovations are underway at the East Nashville site.
According to Buffalo Exchange’s website, the company was founded in Tucson, Arizona, in 1974 and buys, sells and trades gently used clothing, shoes and accessories. The resale retailer says its stores feature a curated mix of current trends, contemporary closet staples, mall brands, designer labels, vintage pieces and unique finds, with inventory sourced directly from customers who can choose cash or trade on-the-spot for their closet cleanouts.
Their website also states that Buffalo Exchange operates more than 40 stores across the United States and has built its business around extending the life of clothing through resale. The East Nashville store will mark the retailer’s second location in Music City, giving shoppers another destination to buy, sell, and trade pre-owned fashion while further growing its presence in Tennessee.
