Tootles & French to Close Its Astoria Location in August

The restaurant is an acclaimed modern wine bar and bistro, known for its aesthetic atmosphere and French-inspired menu. The restaurant features a wine-focused menu, small plates, and an intimate dining space.

Located at 36-15 Ditmars Blvd, Astoria, NY, Tootles and French are preparing to close their doors permanently. The restaurant team shared that it would serve its final meal on August 8 before closing. The team apologized for the short notice and thanked the Astoria community for its support.

They explained, “Unfortunately, something we have learned is that the sacrifices that must be made in personal lives to sustain our concept and what makes it special can become too great.”

The team also mentioned that the restaurant is currently focused on helping and supporting its staff through this transition. The restaurant will operate with reduced hours and a limited menu during its final weeks.
