Yuying Li, owner of bubble tea shop Her Boba in Hell’s Kitchen, has a new concept heading to the neighborhood this year. Li has just filed for a liquor license for Dream Talk at 453 West 54th Street.

Dream Talk will serve as a cafe and bar concept. Li told What Now New York that she is planning to keep the menu simple, focusing on coffee, wines, beers and small bites and desserts. A proposed menu filed with the community board includes classic handcrafted coffee beverages like lattes and cold brews, beers and wines, and snacks like chocolate truffles and Brazilian cheese bread.

Li said she was inspired to venture into the liquor space for her second concept because of her experience with her first business Her Boba, which caters mostly to women.

“Some girls are scared to go to a liquor shop to buy [alcohol], so I want to give them a comfortable and safe place to gather liquor,” Li said.

The small space features a large window and is about 400 square feet. It will have one table that will seat 5 five, and paperwork indicates plans for the spot to be open from 8:30 a.m. to 9:30 p.m. daily.

Li said she is aiming to have a grand opening in March.
