A new grill is coming to Lower Manhattan’s Chinatown neighborhood.
Allen Grill will open at 11 Allen St., between Canal and Division streets, according to business filings.
The space will feature two levels with table and counter seating, along with a bar.
The menu will start with a small-bites section called “Cold Snacks,” offering olives with olive oil, orange peel and sea salt, along with marinated cucumbers dressed with olive oil, sea salt, chili and vinegar.
Heartier options will highlight grilled skewers of chicken, steak, halloumi, mushrooms, shishito peppers, sweet potatoes, grilled corn and grilled sourdough, all finished with olive oil and a variety of spices. For something sweeter, the menu will also offer pineapple and plantain skewers.
The skewers can be topped with green herbs, chili oil, mustard, honey butter or black pepper sauce.
An official opening date has not yet been announced. Once open, Allen Grill will operate daily from 11 a.m. to 2 a.m.
