About the Bakery and Its Menu
Originally located in TriBeCa, Frenchette Bakery was established in 2020. The idea was to celebrate French baking heritage. The bakery focuses on naturally leavened breads, viennoiserie, and pastries made with organic and locally sourced ingredients.
In 2023, the brand expanded to open a second location inside the Whitney Museum, including a full-service café.
Today, the bakery’s menu includes artisan breads, croissants, Kouign-Amann, seasonal pastries, sandwiches, salads, and specialty coffee. Pastry chef Johann Cottier and executive pastry chef Michelle Palazzo oversee the menu.
The Nolita shop brings the bakery’s popular French-inspired breads and pastries to another neighborhood while introducing an expanded menu.
