Tiny’s Burger is Opening in Costa Mesa Today

Costa Mesa is welcoming Chef Sang Yoon’s newest concept, Tiny’s Burger. The chef is best known for creating Father’s Office gastropubs. The new restaurant will open today at South Coast Plaza (Level 1 near Carousel Court) in Costa Mesa.
The new restaurant combines a classic American burger stand with a konbini-style snack shop inspired by Japanese convenience stores. It is named after Yoon’s late dog, Tiny. The space pairs nostalgic design elements with modern touches.
“Tiny’s is about craveable comfort food refined with ingredients I love,” says Chef Sang Yoon. “We wanted to create a space that feels nostalgic but entirely fresh, mixed with a menu that seems familiar yet new. Tiny’s is a place you can visit over and over and again and still discover something new.”
Tiny’s Burger will be open from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. Monday through Thursday. On Fridays and Saturdays, it will open from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m., and on Sundays from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m.
American Comfort Food-Focused Menu

Chef Sang Yoon and Chef Nanor Harboyan developed the menu for Tiny’s Burger. The menu draws from both American comfort food and Asian culinary influences. The signature items include the Tiny’s Burger with a special sauce made with gochujang and ssamjang.
Other signature dishes include the Tokyo Dog topped with bonito flakes and Kewpie mayo, Miso Mac n Cheese, Cup of Chili, Salt & Vinegar Tots, and Pineapple Dole Whip. There is also a snack shop offering grab-and-go sandwiches, salads, snacks, and drinks from around the world.
