Burritos La Palma, the family-owned Mexican restaurant known for its signature handmade flour tortillas and slow-cooked guisados, is set to join the lineup at Katella Commons at OCVIBE, at 2610 E Katella Ave. The food hall is scheduled to debut in early 2027, introducing a curated collection of local and regional culinary concepts to Anaheim’s growing entertainment district.
Founded in Southern California and inspired by the culinary traditions of Jerez, Zacatecas, Burritos La Palma has earned a devoted following for its minimalist menu centered on small, tightly rolled burritos filled with ingredients such as deshebrada beef, bean and cheese, and chicharrón. The brand has become one of the region’s most celebrated Mexican eateries, attracting long lines and national recognition for its focus on craftsmanship and quality.
At Katella Commons, Burritos La Palma will serve alongside a diverse mix of chefs and restaurateurs selected for the expansive market hall, which will anchor the OCVIBE mixed-use development adjacent to the Honda Center. The destination is designed to offer visitors an all-day dining experience before and after concerts, sporting events, and other entertainment.
Katella Commons is expected to become one of Orange County’s largest food halls when it opens in early 2027, with approximately 20 food and beverage concepts spread across 50,000 square feet. Burritos La Palma’s addition reinforces the project’s emphasis on showcasing beloved Southern California brands alongside emerging culinary talent.
