According to a California Department of Alcoholic Beverage Control license application, a business identified as “The Win~Dow and a Bar” is proposed for 237 W. Chapman Ave. in Orange. While The Win~Dow is best known for its burgers and shakes, a pending liquor license suggests the Orange location could also offer beer, wine, and spirits.

Founded by Paul Hibler and Jeff Goodman, and operating under the American Gonzo Food Corporation umbrella, The Win~Dow has built a loyal following for its affordable smash burgers, fried chicken sandwiches, grain bowls, fries, and milkshakes

The brand currently operates multiple locations across Southern California, including Santa Monica, Venice, Silver Lake, Hollywood, West Adams, Long Beach, Santa Barbara, and The Grove. According to the company’s website, additional locations are also in the pipeline.

In addition to its smash burgers, The Win~Dow has earned praise for its breakfast offerings, particularly its breakfast burrito. Served during morning hours at select locations, the burrito combines eggs, potatoes, cheese, and other classic ingredients in a portable format that has become a favorite among regulars. The item reflects the brand’s broader approach of delivering straightforward comfort food made with quality ingredients and offered at an accessible price point.
