According to an active plan review filed with the Orange County Health Care Agency, Osen Hospitality Group, led by Damon Cho, is set to open a new location on 7300 Great Park Blvd., Suite A. The project is listed as a new restaurant construction under 2,000 square feet.
According to Osen Hospitality’s website, the new concept slated for Great Park Boulevard is called “Osen Urban Table,” described as “a modern Japanese restaurant where the next generation comes together for great food, crafted drinks, and effortless vibes without the premium price tag.”
The concept will offer a menu featuring sushi, sashimi, kushiyaki, and other Japanese-inspired plates at an approachable price point, alongside a curated selection of cocktails, sake, beer, and wine. Designed to appeal to a new generation of diners, Osen Urban Table aims to create a relaxed setting where guests can gather, share dishes, and enjoy a communal dining experience. While the menu is still under development, the company has indicated that additional details will be announced closer to opening.
Founded in 2017, Osen Hospitality operates Izakaya Osen restaurants in Irvine and Los Angeles’ Silver Lake neighborhood. The group is known for its Japanese dining concepts centered on sushi, sashimi, kushiyaki skewers, and Japanese fusion cuisine, along with extensive sake and beverage programs. The company sources seafood from Japan and describes its restaurants as modern interpretations of the traditional Japanese izakaya experience.
