On July 24, Zaza Cuban Comfort Food, the Central Florida-based restaurant with ten locations in the area, announced plans to open another new restaurant, its first in Osceola County. The new Zaza will open at The Loop shopping center, at 3208 North John Young Parkway, in Kissimee, with a launch expected in early 2027.

“Zaza sees Osceola County as an incredible opportunity because the dynamic growth this part of Central Florida is experiencing,” Zaza Cuban Comfort Food CEO Luis Fernandez said in a press release. “We’re excited to bring Zaza’s unique Cuban heritage and flavors to The Loop Shopping Center and the surrounding community.”

What Now has most recently reported on plans for new Zaza locations in SODO and at the Orlando International Airport. Both are still upcoming. Its most recent opening, in Casselberry, took place last July.

“Zaza Cuban Comfort Food is a modern Cuban comfort diner known for fresh ingredients and traditional recipes,” says the press release. “Cuban bread is baked fresh daily, meals are prepared to order, and the kitchens operate without microwaves to preserve quality and authenticity.”

With several new locations coming down the pipeline, Zaza is growing and plans to continue on its expansionary path—and everywhere it goes, it brings coffee.

“Coffee is also a central part of the Zaza experience. The company works closely with its coffee roast master, who travels to South America to source and hand select beans used to create Zaza’s signature coffee blends, which are then roasted in its local facility to produce the café con leche, cafecito, and specialty drinks served across all locations.”
