Greater Philadelphia restaurateurs Michael MacCrory and Sean Coyle are preparing to debut a new restaurant concept.
Renderings shared in the Radnor Township Zoning Hearing Board agenda identify the restaurant as “Dahlia.”
The restaurant will open in the former Di Bruno Bros. space at 385 W. Lancaster Ave., joining the duo’s portfolio, which includes The Goat’s Beard locations in Manayunk and Wayne, Mia Ragazza in Manayunk and The Daisy Tavern in Conshohocken.
“Di Bruno Bros. was a lovely facility, but there’s several upgrades that we need to do to turn what we need to turn it into,” MacCrory said at the zoning meeting.
Dahlia will feature indoor and outdoor seating, a main dining room, a central bar and private dining space. The team will also take over the former Di Bruno Bros. café retail space.
“This is our vision to improve the exterior of the property to also have an outdoor seating area for guests. The Daisy Tavern has a similar concept. We envision this as a front-facing facility restaurant. You can see the entrance under the striped canopy,” he said.
While additional details have not been announced, the restaurant plans to serve breakfast, lunch and dinner and expects its busiest hours to be Friday and Saturday evenings during dinner service.
MacCrory said they have signed a 10-year lease at Stratford Shopping Center, with two additional five-year renewal options. Stay tuned!
