It’s said that good things come in threes, and a popular Lehigh Valley sandwich shop is setting out to test that theory. Wiz Kidz, a concept that pairs great cheesesteaks with a cool vintage vibe, is searching for its next location, reports local media outlet Lehigh Valley Live.
The eatery currently has locations in Easton and Bethlehem-though the Easton storefront will be closing at the end of this week and relocating to Allentown. The Bayou Boys-the group behind Wiz Kidz-is looking into spots in Forks Township, Nazareth, or an Easton location further from its current Bethlehem home.
As the hospitality group is still in the scouting process for the new restaurant, an opening timeline is difficult to estimate. However, the team is hoping to launch the next storefront in the next couple of years.
Speaking of the his hopes and intentions for the new location-and a possible return to Easton- co-owner Mo Taylor states: “We look forward to continuing to feed that community and hopefully circle back and find a location that services that region but is a little further away from Bethlehem”
Wiz Kidz cultivates a fun, retro energy to accompany its carefully crafted menu. The website describes what’s in store for future regulars, saying: “we take our cheesesteaks seriously. Imagine delicious strips of beef, perfectly grilled and smothered in melted cheese, all sandwiched in a soft roll that’s a taste of pure nostalgia. Our hand-cut French fries and Pierogies complete the ensemble, making each bite a trip back to the good ol’ days.”
