A Philadelphia hospitality power couple is preparing to bring an infusion of carbohydrates and caffeine to New Jersey this year. Chris Fetfatzes and Heather Annechiarico are bringing Penny’s Bagels to downtown Haddonfield in 2024, reports The Philadelphia Inquirer.

The bagel and coffee shop will be opening at 212 Kings Highway East. While a precise opening date is not yet available, Haddonfield residents can look forward to enjoying Penny’s fare this spring. While a great deal of information is not currently available about the eatery, the shop’s Instagram account has posted that Penny’s will “see you soon”.

The baked goods will all be prepared on site. In addition to java and everyone’s favorite breakfast carb, Penny’s menu will feature smoked fish.

Fetfatzes and Annechiarico are no strangers to launching successful neighborhood eateries. The restaurateurs are the brains behind such Philly staples as Grace & Proper, a corner bar, and Hawthorne’s, a brunch establishment that established their brunch bona fides.
