[solidcore] Shaking Up Montgomery County With New Studio

A fitness studio is bringing its sweat-and-shake workout to Montgomery County.

[solidcore] will open its newest location at The Shoppes at English Village next to Sport Clips. The shopping center is also home to retailers including Trader Joe’s, Sephora and Hallmark.

The 3,023-square-foot studio will offer Solidcore’s signature 50-minute, high-intensity, low-impact workouts. Its classes combine strength and endurance exercises with movements targeting the core, lower and upper body.

While [solidcore] is often mistaken for Pilates because it uses a Pilates-inspired reformer machine, the workout differs by challenging each muscle group through slow, controlled movements designed to make the muscles shake.

For first-time attendees, [solidcore] offers the Starter50: Intro to [solidcore] class, which introduces newcomers to the studio’s movements and machine.

The studio launched in 2013 and has since grown to more than 100 locations across the United States. The Montgomery County studio will join nearby locations in Newtown Square and Bryn Mawr, as well as studios in Philadelphia’s Northern Liberties and Center City.
