At the beginning of the year, What Now Sacramento reported that Rocklin‘s Pink Martini California Kitchen & Cocktails had temporarily closed for renovations. Now, more details have been revealed.
Pink Martini closed its doors at 6700 Lonetree Blvd, Suite 100 on February 2, 2025, initially citing the need for renovations. Owner Kyle Oliver, who debuted the restaurant at Blue Oaks Town Center in 2017, has dealt with significant building issues since 2023. While Oliver says some cosmetic repairs were made, the landlord has allegedly neglected to fix deeper drainage problems critical to the integrity of the building.
Fast forward to today: In a recent social media update, Pink Martini announced that Rocklin City code enforcers officially condemned the restaurant’s suite and issued a second round of fines and violations to the landlord. The business teased, “UPDATES COMING SOON,” hinting at potential plans to either repair the space or relocate the restaurant altogether.
Oliver previously told the Sacramento Business Journal that while repairs could theoretically be completed in a few weeks, the lack of clear assurances from property management has led him to prepare for relocation.
Known for its lively atmosphere, Pink Martini built a strong following with its signature cocktails and crowd-pleasing California cuisine. With a little luck—and some better real estate—the local hotspot may soon return to the local dining scene. Stay tuned for updates.
